You don't have to adopt to make a difference.

There are over half a million youth in foster care. This month, spend some time making a difference in this area:

• Learn more about what happens to youth when they age out of care and what local organizations are doing to change these odds.
  
• Wear a blue ribbon this month.
  
• Send a care package to a foster care alum currently in college.
  
• Donate items to a local organization that can get them to youth in need.
  
• Send a letter of encouragement to a young person in foster care.
  

A few minutes of your time can make a major impact.
