With over 70 million landmines in one-third of the world's nations, the landmine crisis is a global one. The presence of landmines threatens people's lives and prevents economic growth and development. Even after wars, the land is useless and restrains people from rebuilding their lives. Think about adopting a minefield or donating, large or small, to the global landmine crisis. We've done our part by featuring Adopt-A-Minefield, now it's your turn. Make a donation, start a campaign at school or become an AAM Spokesperson. This is a great problem, but you can be part of an even greater solution.
