Spend this week helping children read. It's time to talk about children and literacy because this week is Children's Book Week. While you can attend celebrations and festivals in honor of this important week, you can also do your part to encourage children near you to read. For example, when you're out picking up a copy of our book, grab a children's book for a child in your life or donate it to an after-school program. And, if your state is served by an Imagination Library, enroll your child to receive great books and donate a few dollars to make them available to all children.
