Fair trade gifts make more than the recipient happy. If you're still making your list and checking it twice, add some fairly traded gifts to it. Gifts that are certified as fair trade mean that strict attention has been paid to make sure the product and its ingredients were bought for a fair price (usually via a democratic process). The extra price you may pay allows the producers and artisans of the item to make a little extra in order to provide for their families. And, with shops like Ghia, Partners for Just Trade, and Ten Thousand Villages, you're sure to find something for everyone on your list.
