5 minutes of caring

On the Double

On the Double

Use something twice.

There are lots of things that can be used twice. And when you reuse something, you're extending its life, thereby reducing the amount of waste you generate. Therefore, before you throw something away, think: Can I use this again? For example, one CoolPerson recently told us that when drying their hands with a paper towel, they store the damp towel in Tupperware to later use to wipe down the counters. Now that's some cool reuse.

Special contest: Tell us how you use something twice at home and one lucky entrant will score a signed copy of New Day Revolution!

wipes are used over and over again here. Even when they have dried out they are used to dust the TV and other things, used with window cleaner to wipe down the windows in the car, etc. I stopped buying the 'one size fits all' paper towels and bought the 'select-a-size' ones. My 3 yr old doesn't need a big one like hubby does and i may need a small one to cover food in the microwave.
