What's in your food? If your grocery routine is pretty - um, routine - then try this tactic the next time you're out shopping for rations for the pantry: read the label. Instead of just picking a pretty box and going with it, by taking the time to read what is actually in said box, we'll be more aware of what we're buying and of the food practices we are supporting. So, we dare you to read the ingredient labels on some of your favorite foods. Can't pronounce them? Then maybe you'll agree with us that "all natural" or "organic" sounds - and tastes - much better.

I joined a popular weight management program this past year. As a result, I began reading package labels. Our pantry, refridgerator, and snack shelf has been transformed by this simple practice. Better choices at the grocery store, supports better choices at meal time.
