Get dressed with a purpose. What we wear can say a lot about us. But instead of conforming to the status quo of designer labels, trendy outfits or mall boutiques, don a shirt that tells others what you care about. Granted, the suit and tie may not leave a lot of room of a positive message, but your weekend warrior T-shirt sure can. It's one thing to talk about your caring lifestyle, another to actually do it, and still another to wear it proudly across your chest. Use the opportunity known as "getting dressed" to tell the world what it is you care about.

The really great thing about them is that when you purchase a shirt from an organization or movement, not only are you spreading the word, but you're also donating to the cause! Not to mention you look quite classy. christa commented, on May 30, 2008 at 1:02 p.m.: One of my favorite places to shop for these is at NorthernSun.com. They have hundreds of messages that I support. Everything from anti-war to education. peace Post a commentYou must be a registered user to post comments. |

I've got the Cool People long-sleeved blue and the short-sleeved pink. I wear them all the time, along with other "be green" and "go vote" t-shirts. This is such a fun and easy way to make a statement, and it beats another boring white tee!
