Get offline and go outside for once. We've talked about unplugging that cell phone charger and all the unused electronics in the guestroom in order to save money and cut carbon emissions. But what about unplugging yourself for an entire weekend? Not only will you save the carbon and the cash, but you'll also have a chance to connect with nature and some nice spring weather. So go for a walk. Volunteer outdoors. Pack a picnic. Play some kickball. Plant a tree or visit a park. It's up to you. Cut the digital cords that bind you daily and breathe in the deep air of simplicity.
