It's National Volunteer Week. It's no mystery that we're fans of volunteering here at CoolPeopleCare. So, in honor of National Volunteer Week wrapping up this weekend, we encourage everyone to get out of your house and lend a hand. Maybe you'll help clean up a lake or slap a coat of paint on a house. Maybe you'll make some sandwiches with your church or read to some youngsters with a group from work. Whatever you do this weekend, do one thing for someone else. Your unpaid hours of service make a big difference when it comes to the big needs of our communities.

My daughter and I volunteer at the Homeless Cat network through Petsmart in San Mateo Ca socializing and caring for the cats there and Bay Cat Project to feed the feral cats along the Bayside weekly. We have met some great furry friends and human ones as well! Today we met a new friend and we named him smokey!
