It's easy to not buy stuff.

Not buying things will save you money. And, reducing our consumption of nearly everything is also better for the environment. Thanks to places like Craig's List and Freecycle(TM), you're now able to find that something you need but can't borrow. You'll save some cash because you don't need to buy new. And, you're keeping something out of the landfill and garbage dumps, which is also great news for the Earth. And who knows? You could even make a friend in the process.
