What to do with those yummy veggies? You've joined the CSA, and do all you possibly can to munch on those fruits and vegetables before they go bad. Perhaps you've even made beet bread, for goodness sakes! Another way to make sure you get your daily dose of healthy foods – especially in the off-peak seasons – is to freeze what you can't eat. By freezing your berries, cucumbers, peppers or broccoli, you'll make sure that good food won't get tossed in the trash can and will instead end up in your stomach – even if it takes a few months. It's almost as fun as a playground game.
