Join millions who are talking about poverty. It's Blog Action Day, which means that thousands of blogs and media outlets will be talking about poverty today. This gives you a chance to do a little research and get a post together before bedtime so that your friends, family and other readers can see that it's something you care about. Or, if you don't have a blog, you can read some of the people talking about poverty today in order to learn more. So, whether you write or read, at least be resolved to do one thing today on behalf of the millions who live in poverty.
CommentsSusan commented, on October 15, 2008 at 8:38 a.m.: Thank you for encouraging people to learn more about poverty and the needs of those who are homeless or under-resourced. The need is so great. Volunteering at a shelter, donating clothing, giving $$ to a local food bank, being an advocate are a few ways to help. Sometimes it's easy to think that what we can do or give isn't enough to make a difference, but when combined with that of others ... it really does! I guess this is my blog post (because I don't have a blog of my own.) :) Jad commented, on October 15, 2008 at 2:18 p.m.: Great post. My post is up at: http://jaddunc.wordpress.com/2008/10/15/... I have visited your blog or picked up from Entrepreneurial Mind from time to time and found a number of ideas that I have posted on. Brian Dowling Sam commented, on October 16, 2008 at 5:06 p.m.:
