The colors of autumn - either you love the kaleidoscope of the leaves changing, or you're cursing the fact that you've got to rake them all up. Or both. Regardless, when it comes time to clean up your front yard, keep these eco-friendly tips in mind:

• Don't just bag your leaves for the landfill; compost or mulch them.
  
• Use compostable bags so everything returns to the earth.
  
• Whatever you do, keep your leaves out of waterways.
  
• Get on board if your city has a fall leaf collection to make sure they all end up in the right place.
