5 minutes of caring

Every Breath You Take

Every Breath You Take

Lung health is important, so do something about it this month.

October is Healthy Lung Month, so now is the time to do something good for your lungs. These oxygen-loving organs are crucial to our living and our lifestyle, and when harmed, contribute to things like lung cancer, asthma, hay fever, and other types of lung disease. Therefore, it's important that we take care of our (and everyone else's) lungs by keeping our air clean through the reduction of pollution (like lessening your use of coal at home via energy-saving habits). Do one thing today that contributes to cleaner air. Or, wait until next Friday and hop aboard our carpool.

My last cigarette was November 3rd, 1988. I woke up one morning and decided that I was going to ruin my future child's health. I quit on the spot! "Cold-Turkey" I also gave up alcohol at the same time. It was the best thing I ever did. I'm saving our health, our environment, our money, and setting a good example for my children and others. It's a good feeling!
