Veterans Day is all about peace. Having been celebrated since 1918, Veterans Day is clearly a longstanding tradition in the US. But for what? While originally intended to commemorate the end of The Great War and those who died fighting it, the holiday has morphed over the years into a day in which servicemen and servicewomen are honored.
